Frequently Asked Questions

How do I run more than one timer at the same time?

Running several timers at once is a Routine Timer PRO feature. With PRO you can save a library of timers and switch each one on independently from the My Timers list, so a workout, a water reminder, and a medication alert can all run together.

My alert didn't sound or appear — what happened?

Routine Timer uses iOS notifications, which depend on your system settings. Check that notifications are allowed for Routine Timer in Settings › Notifications, that your ringer and volume are up, and that a Focus or Silent mode isn't suppressing alerts. Because alerts rely on iOS, please don't use the app for medication, medical, or any safety-critical timing.

How do I record or import my own alert sound?

Open a timer's sound picker, and under My Sounds tap Record or Import. Custom sounds are a PRO feature, can be up to 30 seconds long, and are reusable across any of your timers.

What's the difference between fixed and unlimited repeats?

A fixed repeat runs your interval a set number of times and then stops. Unlimited (∞) repeats loop continuously until you stop the timer. Unlimited loops and up to 99 fixed repeats are included with PRO.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

Open the PRO screen and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with, your PRO access will be restored.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your device go to Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, select Routine Timer, and change or cancel your plan there. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and select the purchase to request a refund.

Do you collect any of my data?

No. Your timers and settings stay on your device, and the app has no accounts, analytics, or tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.
