Sung is a singing practice app that runs entirely on your phone.

The Microphone

Sung listens while a practice session, the tuner, a free sing or the sound check is open, and never at any other time. The sound is analysed on your device to work out the pitch you are singing. Nothing is sent anywhere, and no part of it is used for anything but showing and scoring your singing.

Recordings

A microphone session is recorded to a file in the app's own storage on your device, so you can listen back to a rep or keep a take in the voice journal. Recordings never leave the phone unless you share or export one yourself and choose where to send it. Settings lets you keep them for 7 days, 30 days or for good, delete a single take, or delete every recording at once.

What Else Sung Stores

Your sessions, scores, voice range, settings, custom drills and any backing track you import are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. Sung has no accounts and no servers of its own.

Notifications

The practice reminder is scheduled locally on your device. Sung does not use push notifications from a server.

Purchases

Sung Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and keeps the purchase record; Sung only learns whether your account owns a Pro purchase, never your payment details.

What Sung Does Not Do

Sung does not collect analytics, does not track you across apps or websites, contains no advertising, and does not sell or share any data, because it has none to sell. It works with no network connection at all.

Children

Sung is rated for all ages, collects nothing, and shows no adverts.

Deleting Your Data

Settings › Delete all data removes everything Sung stored, recordings included. Deleting the app does the same.
