Frequently Asked Questions
How do I save a workout?
You can configure any custom timer — work, rest, rounds, sets, warm-up and cool-down — and tap Start to run it for free, as often as you like. Saving a workout to your library so you can launch it in one tap is a HIIT Timer PRO feature. The built-in workouts (Tabata, Classic HIIT, Sprints and more) are always available for free.
Does it work on Apple Watch?
Yes. The standalone Apple Watch app is part of HIIT Timer PRO. Once unlocked you can run a full workout right on your wrist with haptic cues — no iPhone needed. Buying PRO on either device unlocks both, as long as you use the same Apple Account.
The sound or haptics didn't play — what happened?
Cues use your device's audio and haptics. Check that Sound and Haptics are enabled in HIIT Timer's Settings, that your volume is up, and that Silent mode or a Focus isn't muting audio. On Apple Watch, haptics still play even when the watch is muted.
Why does the Apple Watch app ask for Health access?
To keep your timer running with the screen awake during a workout, the watch app starts a standard workout session, which requires HealthKit permission. HIIT Timer does not read, write, or store any health data — the permission is used only to keep the timer running. You can decline and the timer still works while the app is open.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with, your PRO access will be restored.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and select the purchase to request a refund.
Do you collect any of my data?
No. Your workouts and settings stay on your device, and the app has no accounts, analytics, or tracking. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Is HIIT Timer a medical device?
No. HIIT Timer is for general fitness and convenience only. Always consult a physician before beginning any exercise program, and stop if you feel unwell. Cues rely on iOS and may be delayed or missed depending on your settings, so don't use the app for medical or safety-critical timing.
